Alex Wong, Junior Class Trainer
Hannah, Graduate, Club President and Fighter
Alex is an unbelievable young man. His maturity, discipline and way with people is unbelievable for any person let alone a 17 year old. He understands that sacrifices need to be made to succeed and that success must be worked for. He has the same gift of teaching and training that his father Alan has been blessed with. Alex has helped me train for fights and really stepped up recently to help me train for a fight when his father was away on business for the club. Alan has become a father figure to me and I consider Alex to be a brother. I have seen him grow over the past 4 years in training the children’s class. His students have fantastic technique and he is teaching them the important values of muay thai that are central to any child’s development.

A motivated young fellow! Hard working and very friendly. He has an amazing way of training with the kids and you can just see the kids having fun and looking up at him. He makes a tough sport like Muay Thai fun, interesting and very exciting for especially the kids. Training with Alex, you can be assured that you will leave with a smile on your face and a satisfied feeling and make you excited about the next session
Our youngest trainer and son of the Head trainer Alan Wong, you know that young Alex has lived the life in his fathers footsteps as far as the passion and attention to detail in the training of our youngest club members at FUMTC kids. Head trainer for the Junior club, Alex is able to think on his feet when dealing with the short attention span of the little ones. However its his ability to demonstrate and install the foundations of the discipline of our Martial Art whilst still providing an attention grabbing lesson. Alex has found the balance between keeping the children occupied and learning all at the same time as keep them fit.
Laura Bowman, Trainer
Alex is brilliant as the kids class instructor. He has a lovely nature and gets along well with all the children. He cleverly makes the class loads of fun for the kids whilst also getting the knowledge and fitness. Alex is motivated and very smart with the way he teaches the kids Muay Thai.
Has had experience training in thailand. He looks after the juniors at the club, he has the skills training the kids and is committed to the club and it's younger members. He gets along with the kids well.

Alex is the kind of person you can’t help but be friends with. He has this talent of being able to see the limits of your abilities and push you to the very edge of them. He has an eye for technique and is able to translate movement into words in order to help you fix it. He’s hard working and dedicated and seems to have an ability to make you laugh. He’ll also find all the muscles in your body that you’ve never used and make sure you feel them the day after training with him.
